About the Role:
<p>We are looking to hire a Senior Business Development Representative is an experienced member of the BDR team responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers. This role involves a deeper understanding of sales strategies, more complex lead generation techniques, and often a leadership component, such as mentoring junior BDRs.</p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years proven experience in a business development role </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Analytical skills to assess lead quality and sales effectiveness.</li><li>Leadership abilities, particularly in mentoring and training junior team members.</li></ul><p>We are a hybrid workforce and are in office - "Monday, Tuesday & Thursday"</p>
What You’ll be Doing:
<ul><li>Proactively source and qualify leads through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking.</li><li>Assess the needs and potential of leads to ensure they are a good fit for the company's products or services.</li><li>Engage with leads to understand their pain points, needs, and interest in the company's offerings.</li><li>Manage and track leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and communication.</li><li>Work closely with Account Executives (AEs) and other sales team members to hand off qualified leads and provide context for successful sales conversions.</li><li>Guide and mentor junior BDRs, helping them refine their skills and improve performance.</li><li>Track key metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and outreach effectiveness, providing insights to improve sales processes.</li><li> Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to refine sales strategies.</li></ul>
What You Should Have for the Role:
