We are looking for a BI Operations Engineer to join our Backend family at Nimble.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and troubleshooting: Monitoring the BI systems to identify and fix any issues or errors that arise. This could involve running regular checks on databases, monitoring data flows, and performing troubleshooting activities.
• Data management: Ensuring the integrity, security, and availability of data by implementing data governance policies, managing data backups, and conducting regular data audits.
• Performance optimization: Identifying bottlenecks and performance issues in the BI systems and working with other teams to optimize query performance and system efficiency.
• Automation: Automating manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors, such as automating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Documentation: Maintaining up-to-date documentation of BI systems.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in BI operations, database administration, or data engineering.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• experience with SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes is essential.
• The ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and draw insights from data.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment is important.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
